Lavender Blue

 

 We at Lavender Blue have gained a reputation over the years for supplying elegant and stylish wedding flowers, and are known as the best Wedding Florists in the Oswestry area.  Each of our weddings is unique.  Aileen opened the business seven years ago working out of a stable at home which was converted to a purpose built studio about five years ago.  Aileen trained at the Welsh College of Horticulture and The University of Glamorgan where she studied HNC in Floristry.  Sharon joined around four years ago and is naturally talented, her floral designs are exquisite, and both Aileen and Sharon believe in putting everything into making our brides and bridegrooms have a memorable day.

 

We differ from your normal everyday florist in that we dedicate the time to you and your wedding.  After your initial consultation, once you have secured your date by paying your deposit (£50 which is then credited to your final invoice), we create a mood board for you with all the ideas we have discussed at the initial consultation and maybe a few more we have thought of, samples of fabrics, ribbons etc and maybe pearls and chrystals.  If we have not worked at the chosen venue before we always pay them a visit so we have an idea of the layouts, colours and a chance for us to introduce ourselves to the staff.  We arrange for you to come back into the studio to see our ideas and choose your designs.

 

Once everything has been chosen we keep in touch with you right upto the wedding day and if there is anything at all you want to change, discuss or are just worried about we are there to help.

 

 

We would like to thank you very much for the beautiful flower arrangements you designed for Becky and Sam's wedding at The Walls, Oswestry earlier this month.  The flowers were admired and commented on by many of the guests and we were able to give many of the arrangements for people to take home to enjoy at the end.  Thank you again for contributing to this special day.

We would like to say a big thank you for all you did to make out wedding day so wonderful!  You interpreted our ideas into exactly what an English Country wedding should look like  from the Church to the Tractor and the marquee not only did they look fantastic they had a wonderful fragrance too.  We have a wonderful day and we will treasure the memories forever.

Just a short note to say a massive thank you for arranging out flowers for our wedding day on August 2nd 2009 at Rowton Castle.  The flowers looked amazing and were more than anything we had imagined.  So many people commented on how beautiful they were and they were one part of the day that made it a fairy tale for us. Thank you for all your help with the supply of all of our wedding flowers for our wedding at The Wynnstay, Oswestry.  We were both delighted with the finished results.  I very much appreciated the care and attention to detail that was extended to me during this very special time.  Incidentally my bouquet lasted for almost 3 weeks.
